Bring your harness. Leave your financial dignity.
Connect your MCP-compatible harness to SWA’s Rust pricing backend. Inspect real captured provider prices without accepting our fictional cloud’s deeply unreasonable sales pitch.
REAL PRICES. QUESTIONABLE SALES TACTICS.
Your cloud bill deserves a second opinion. Unfortunately, it is ours.
SWA is Software With Attitude: real provider pricing evidence delivered with the personality of a billing department that has never heard the word “enough.” Our own cloud plans, fees and superiority claims are fictional satire.
“If keeping your company solvent matters to you, Hetzner is over there. SWA charges extra for the privilege of regretting your decision.”
The joke is our sales pitch, not somebody else’s price. That line is illustrative commentary, not a measured Hetzner quote or a workload-specific recommendation. Real alternatives must earn their place through region, resources, billing terms and your actual requirements.
Connection details. No soul transfer required.
- Transport
- Streamable HTTP
- MCP endpoint
https://mcp.swacloud.dev/mcp- Authentication
- Bearer token required. Ask the operator for access and configure the token through your harness’s credential settings. Never put a real token in a prompt, public repository or browser-side code.
These are connection details, not a promise of self-service signup. Your harness handles MCP initialization and session negotiation.
Available now: evidence, not an imaginary quote.
pricing_catalog— latest stored Azure, AWS, Linode and Vultr observations, preserving provider-native units and limitations. Unsupported sources are explicitly marked.pricing_observations— the existing Azure storage observation with provenance and freshness.
Both tools take an empty object: {}. They read stored evidence; they do not trigger collection, provision resources or charge you. A captured rate is not a complete bill. Stale, missing and unsupported data must stay visible rather than becoming a suspiciously confident guess.
No MCP access yet? Inspect the publicprovider catalog browser, catalog JSON orpricing observations page.
Next: useful recommendations, delivered disrespectfully.
Workload-aware recommendation and SWA comparison tools are planned, not available yet. The goal: explain which alternative fits your budget, region and operational needs, then insult you for making a sensible choice.
Real prices, assumptions and recommendation reasons belong in structured facts. SWA’s reverse-psychology commentary belongs in a separate, clearly satirical layer. Oracle, Hetzner and every other real provider get factual treatment—not invented rates or automatic endorsements.
SWA’s fictional comparison policy: always the most expensive comparable offer, with the least defensible claims. That policy is not implemented in today’s read-only catalog, which contains real provider evidence only.
